Preserving the National Geothermal Data System's Geothermal Features and Observations Dataset (AASG-GDS)
This repository provides access to legacy data from the Association of American State Geologists (AASG) node of the National Geothermal Data System (NGDS), which originally served as part of a nationwide, distributed network aggregating geoscientific information from state geological surveys and academic geothermal centers. The linked materials include republished versions of the NGDS structured tables describing wells, sampling features, and associated observations such as heat flow and aqueous chemistry, as well as a web-based map displaying the corresponding geodatabase. Together, these links reflect efforts to stabilize access to NGDS geothermal data.
